Requirements

  • Experience in business development and proposal writing.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory permitting and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with environmental permitting documentation and FERC relicensing.
  • Experience in fish habitat restoration and dam removal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct projects related to salmon studies and fish habitat assessments.
  • Prepare and manage environmental analyses and coordinate with team members, clients, and subconsultants.
  • Author and co-author technical reports and biological assessments for Endangered Species Act consultations.
  • Prepare environmental permitting applications and provide strategic permitting expertise to clients.
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Conduct field surveys and participate in community workshops and public hearings to present technical information.
  • Demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills in managing project teams.
