Cunningham Security is seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Systems Technician to join their high-performing service team in Falmouth, ME. In this role, the technician will be the go-to expert in the field, responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining critical systems, and delivering top-tier service to customers. Requirements

• Proven experience servicing fire alarm and/or security systems
• NICET Certification
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of system wiring, devices, and programming
• Clear communication and solid documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical field work

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and intrusion systems
• Identify and resolve wiring, device, and communication issues
• Perform system testing, programming adjustments, and upgrades
• Install or replace system components as needed
• Respond to service calls and system alerts in a timely manner
• Conduct preventative maintenance, including battery replacements
• Accurately document service activity, materials, and findings
• Provide professional, customer-focused service in the field
