We are seeking applicants for the position of Senior Fire Assayer, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. You will be based at Malaga, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples. This role has the potential to get exposure to other departments and mineral testing processes, including fire assay analysis, sample weighing and preparation.
Requirements
- Reliable and keen to work
- Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks
- Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail
- Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety
Responsibilities
- Weigh samples for analysis
- Fluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samples
- Ensure correct procedures are used and adhered to
- Follow QHSE procedure
