The Senior Financial Solutions Advisor is an executive-level, consultative sales professional responsible for diagnosing a company’s financial reality and designing the right outsourced financial leadership solution. This role is built for experienced CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leaders who love strategy and are energized by closing deals, driving growth, and winning. The Senior Financial Solutions Advisor will act as a trusted financial advisor in the sales process, helping founders and executive teams uncover cash flow issues, operational gaps, and growth blockers, then guiding them into the right financial solution. This is a revenue-generating sales role, not a delivery position. You will not manage client books or provide ongoing advisory services post-sale. Your focus is on accurate diagnosis, right-fit solution design, and closing high-value, recurring engagements.

Requirements

  • MUST RESIDE IN THE ATLANTA, GA AREA
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including one or more of: Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, VP of Finance, Senior Finance Director
  • Deep understanding of: Accounting operations, Financial reporting, Cash flow management, Budgeting and forecasting, Financial strategy and business modeling
  • Energized by selling, closing, and driving revenue, not just advising
  • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, business-focused language
  • Comfort managing longer, more complex sales cycles
  • High attention to detail in scoping and expectation-setting
  • Strong judgment with a client-first, accuracy-driven mindset
  • Builder mentality, competitive, accountable, and ownership-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting small to mid-market businesses; multi-entity and enterprise experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in advisory, consulting, professional services, or complex solution selling strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Lead high-impact discovery conversations with founders, CEOs, COOs, and finance leaders
  • Rapidly assess financial maturity, complexity, and operational gaps
  • Diagnose cash flow constraints and profitability leaks
  • Diagnose missing financial systems and reporting
  • Diagnose growth blockers tied to financial infrastructure
  • Identify the appropriate level of support across hourly accounting and clerical support, dedicated one-to-one bookkeeping, full outsourced accounting teams (Accountant, Controller, CFO), and fractional CFO and strategic advisory services
  • Architect customized Financial Solutions packages aligned to each client’s growth stage and complexity
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Confidently manage larger, more complex deal sizes and multi-stakeholder buying groups
  • Clearly articulate scope, outcomes, and value, setting accurate expectations for delivery teams
  • Close high-value, recurring service engagements
  • Convert inbound and SDR-qualified opportunities into high-quality consultative sales engagements
  • Apply financial expertise to increase close rates, deal size, and solution mix
  • Partner with marketing, SDRs, and sales leadership to improve qualification and opportunity quality
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives
