We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to work from our Overland Park, KS office. This role will provide data center site level financial analysis & accounting analysis across a complex and rapidly growing legal entity structure. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue and Contracts, this highly visible role will partner with Real Estate Program Management, Development, Finance, Tax and Accounting teams.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes.
  • Professional agility.
  • Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with automated accounting systems.
  • Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA.
  • Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
  • Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm.
  • MBA, or graduate finance related degree.
  • Workday or other large ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly financial projections, assess variances to forecast and provide reporting for various levels of internal management reporting needs
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide project management and financial oversight for hyperscale leases to support tenant reimbursed construction costs
  • Collaborate with Development, Real Estate Program Management and other departments to assist with financial budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning related to hyperscale lease programs
  • Analyze construction budgets and project-level financials, partnering with Accounting and Billing teams to ensure costs, billings, and revenue recognition align with contractual and lease provisions.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Provide support for the annual internal and external audits.
  • Assist on special projects, including accounting for significant transactions.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for supporting management initiatives including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis and research, and reporting.
