At SoFi, we offer complimentary access to financial planners to all of our members. As a senior financial planner, you will be a salaried fiduciary focused on helping our members get their money right. This is not a sales-based role and you are not responsible for generating appointments. This role is all about understanding the member’s current financial situation and goals; and helping develop actionable recommendations to help them achieve their goals. What you’ll do: Work directly with our members via videoconference, phone, and email Guide members through SoFi’s unique planning experience that will address everything from modular advice (i.e. best way to pay down debt) to comprehensive financial planning. Develop specific recommendations based on the member’s unique circumstances and SoFi’s house views on planning topics. Present specific recommendations to the member that includes their next best action, whether it relates to a SoFi product or not. Collaborate with team members to leverage member feedback and industry knowledge to refine our planning experience (we are big on continual improvement).
