The Senior Financial Data Analyst plays a key role in enabling informed decision-making across Financial Services by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. This position owns core financial reporting, forecasting, and data integrity while partnering with Business Units and IT to improve transparency, efficiency, and scalability of financial processes. The role contributes to organizational objectives by modernizing financial analytics capabilities, strengthening data-driven planning, and exploring advanced technologies that enhance financial visibility and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise sources.
  • Proven track record of using data and insights to drive business decisions and improve business processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Adaptive, or other modern data visualization/financial systems tools.
  • Prior experience supporting cross-functional financial transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled forecasting or analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development, maintenance, and accuracy of financial dashboards, reports, and analytical models that deliver actionable insights to Finance leadership and Business Units.
  • Independently extract, analyze, and interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Manage and maintain budgets and forecasts by coordinating inputs with Business Unit partners and Finance leadership and adapting approaches as business conditions change.
  • Develop and communicate monthly financial performance reporting and insights—including revenue, expenses, margins, cost trends, risks, and opportunities—to Business Unit leaders and the CFO.
  • Drive reporting, analytics, and process improvements across Financial Services by leveraging financial systems and data platforms to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and transitions, and establish standardized processes for financial master data, system configurations, and chart of accounts changes.
  • Explore and pilot advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and automation opportunities to enhance forecasting, reporting, and financial insights.
  • Assess feasibility and value of emerging technologies in partnership with Finance and IT and translate findings into recommendations for future capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted finance and analytics partner to Business Unit leaders and executive stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Communicate complex financial and analytical insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and build effective relationships that influence decision-making.
