Senior Financial Analysts
About The Position
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Senior Financial Analysts to support a NAVSEA Ship Acquisition Program in the DMV Area. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: Support the government Business Financial Managers (BFMs) in the PEO Provide overall budget submission, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) tracking, and execution data/reports from financial databases for all GFE/CFE systems Interface with the PEO government branch lead Analyze Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMS) submissions and determine reasonableness and accuracy of the estimates Execute data/reports from financial databases for GFE and CFE systems Provide financial directions for PARMS and input to validate and challenge costs, and assess the cost impact of technical issues, identified in reviews Provide database management and programming support in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Assist in researching and writing responses to comptroller and higher-level authority questions and inquiries Assist in the development of briefings for presentations on issues related to GFE financial management Assist in various financial studies, including the potential for new baselines, new weapons systems, potential system de-scopes, and industrial base issues Assist in the development of funding execution documents to support emergent PARM funding execution requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree AND 12 years professional experience in DoD acquisition financial management OR 16 years in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of ERP and Program Budget Information System (PBIS) experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel to include use of pivot tables, linked spreadsheets/workbooks, equations, and other methods of data sorting, updating, and consolidation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and program tracking tools
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, english, history, computer science, economics, mathematics, communications, accounting, education, or science discipline
- 15+ years professional experience in DoD acquisition financial management
- 12+ years of ERP experience
Responsibilities
