About The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst at CBRE, you will leverage advanced accounting principles to prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties. This role is integral to the Financial Strategy and Operations function, focusing on maintaining financial policies and controls while ensuring timely and precise reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience and appropriate judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate posting of expenses, receipts, and other transactions.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting, preparing them on a schedule for timely delivery.
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues and requests from management and clients.
• Recognize potential issues and take corrective action to minimize conflicts.
• Facilitate the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Explain complex information in straightforward terms.
