About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform variance analysis for assigned financial statement line items for the P&L and Balance Sheet. The role includes preparing Segment Financial Reporting quarterly requests such as footnote disclosures and governmental reporting, as well as supporting Finance inquiries on an ad hoc basis. Responsibilities also include completing journal entries and account reconciliations for various lines of business, reviewing deliverables, and serving as a resource for accounting questions. The analyst will perform ad hoc projects in support of the organization and business, monitor and test system interfaces with the front of house systems and general ledger, and document procedures performed for tasks while assisting with process documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience of 4-6 years in accounting, preferably in both public and private accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent team player with solid interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new tasks independently, and resolve issues
  • Ability to learn and implement new tools to improve processes

  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn different accounting systems

Nice To Haves

  • Big 4 or other Public Accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
