The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key part of a fast-paced and highly effective Business Finance team. This role will help build the financial planning structure to support business leaders in executing strategic initiatives that drive growth for Demandbase. Success in this role requires a strong analytical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Services, and Finance to deliver insights, improve processes, and support decisions that accelerate our growth. The role reports into the Strategic Finance Manager.

  • Prepare detailed forecasts and planning models for key GTM performance metrics, including ACV, ARR, CAC, and sales capacity.
  • Analyze key SaaS revenue drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for revenue optimization
  • Prepare and manage budget and forecast cycles for Sales, Marketing and Services; including P&L roll-ups, variance analysis, scenario modeling and trend identification.
  • Execute month-end close support and monthly/quarterly reporting: compile actual vs. plan/forecast, explain variances, deliver insights and recommendations to business partners and leadership.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and presenting key messages to senior leadership
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support key initiatives (e.g., new go-to-market programs, pricing changes, service cost models).
  • Partner with business unit leaders (Sales, Marketing, Services) to understand drivers of performance, collaborate on planning assumptions, enable actionable insights and monitor KPIs.
  • Consolidate and roll up data for cross-functional review (Sales + Marketing + Services), enabling leadership to make data-backed decisions.
  • Work closely with Accounting, FP&A leadership and other finance team members to ensure alignment in reporting, forecasting, and financial close processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities (e.g., automation, reporting tool enhancements) and work to implement solutions.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis to assess new strategic initiatives and projects
  • BA/BS degree, concentrations in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
  • Technology and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Highly advanced Excel/Gsheet skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and break down complex problems to provide clear and effective recommendations
  • Impeccable analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to understand drivers and outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills; can establish credibility, build consensus, and partner cross-functionally without direct authority
  • Team player with the ability to partner cross functionally in growing global organization
  • Technical experience with Netsuite, Adaptive, and data/BI tools is a plus, but not required
