About The Position

Senior Financial Analyst We are seeking an analytic problem solver and curiosity-driven associate to join our Commercial Banking Central Finance Team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for financial forecasting and presentation, modeling, and building strong relationships with Commercial business partners. You will manage financial performance and equip senior leadership with financial insights, directly influencing strategy and driving business outcomes. In addition to assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes for the business, there will also be ample opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects, which often support driving future business strategy. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills in order to effectively: Conduct analysis and drive outcomes, relevant insights, and action plans Develop presentations to senior audiences to communicate insights and to influence both business and financial outcomes Partner with Line of Business (LOB) Finance teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing and proposed new initiatives to optimize business performance Foster trusted business relationships across the Commercial Bank

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis
  • At least 2 years’ experience with financial modeling

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of monthly and quarterly financial reviews with a focus clearly articulating key themes and providing critical insights to leadership
  • Deliver accurate and meaningful financial management analyses to enable partners to deliver on their financial and business objectives
  • Provide transparency to key performance indicators, and clearly communicate risks and opportunities to financial budget targets
  • Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects
  • Independently manage and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrate a passion to learn and continuously develop traditional FP&A skills
