About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Center of Excellence (COE) team based in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic business objectives through pricing, costing, and margin analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner cross-functionally to support new product development, customer bids, and financial reporting initiatives across multiple categories. This position is responsible for developing pricing scenarios, building cost estimates, and preparing profit and loss statements that inform key business decisions. The role also supports margin management initiatives, including commodity and tariff impact analysis, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts across pricing and costing processes, tools, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in finance, financial analysis, or related roles with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Experience supporting pricing, costing, or margin analysis processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) preferred
  • Business analytics experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and analyze reports that provide insight into key performance metrics across business units, categories, and key customers
  • Develop pricing scenarios and cost estimates to support new product development and customer bid activity
  • Prepare and streamline profit and loss statements for business opportunities across multiple categories
  • Partner with business unit stakeholders to identify, track, and report on cost improvement, simplification, trade effectiveness, and strategic pricing opportunities
  • Collaborate with commercial and category finance teams to centralize reporting, enhance analytical capabilities, and improve the effectiveness of business insights
  • Prepare customer cost cards and component forms in support of margin management initiatives
  • Analyze and report on commodity and tariff changes during financial reporting cycles
  • Maintain a high degree of data integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential customer information
