About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Reston, VA. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role plays a key part in supporting our Consulting business divisions. You'll work closely with the controllership team, operations, and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making. Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Business Analyst, or Management Accountant.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong analytical capability.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with systems such as Salesforce, Oracle EPM, Power of BI, and any accounting systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, visualize insights, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across teams and cultures.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or professional qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to prepare Outlooks, Forecasts, and Budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Analyze monthly results, perform variance analysis, and prepare management reporting packages.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals for accurate month-end close.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Support presentations and materials for management meetings.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to streamline processes and improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
