Performs accounting, financial reporting and analysis functions for the Investment Reporting team within the Finance department. Responsible for applying financial analysis knowledge and judgment to activities that are diverse and complex.
Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform appropriate analyses. Analytical focus will be on alternative asset and expected credit losses for the entire investments portfolio.
Analyzes financial data and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial result. Partnering with risk and asset managers to address analysis and performance needs.
Determines appropriate methodology to prepare information for use by others.
Interprets financial transactions and events for users and may offer recommendations to those making economic or business decisions.
Utilizes a thorough understanding of the business to proactively develop financial reports and complex models for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
Participates in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Participates on project teams or leads project teams. Candidate will help lead implementation of Clearwater Analytic’s LPx tool for additional alternative asset types. Additionally, the role will support GAAP reporting enablement for current and new investment types.
May participate in due diligence activities.

Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience, with degree.
Advanced Excel skills.
Solid knowledge of accounting/financial area preferred (for example, investments – particularly alternative assets such as private equity and tax credits, insurance products, premium).
Background with Oracle and Clearwater tools preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, ability to handle multiple projects, customer service approach, willingness to take on new projects, analytical.
Work effectively individually and within a team; organizational and prioritization skills.
