About The Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support financial accounting and reporting activities across several complex areas, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in support of internal and external financial statements. You will partner across the Corporate Controllers Group and with teams throughout the company to complete period‑end responsibilities, support audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Support SEC filing preparation by drafting and reviewing disclosures to ensure required information and key figures are accurate, consistent, and aligned across the document. Participate in recurring and special projects involving divestitures and acquisitions, policy updates, compliance support, and process improvement initiatives. Contribute to period‑end close activities by completing assigned tasks on time and identifying and resolving unusual items. Create and maintain monthly accounting schedules as support for balance sheet account reconciliations and financial audits, and provide analytic support as needed. Review and perform accounting activities in the SAP general ledger, including preparing and uploading journal entries for more complex transactions and using the Cadency tool. Apply judgment in financial, operational, and transactional analysis to identify and resolve issues. Assist in internal and external audits. Evaluate and maintain the effectiveness of processes, procedures, and the control environment. Communicate information impacting both internal and external customers in a clear and timely manner. Alert management to situations that may materially affect the company’s financial condition. Collaborate successfully in a team environment across business groups. Ensure compliance with SOX Controls and Conagra policies. May provide review and managerial oversight for subordinate financial reporting staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Three or more years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
  • Capacity to work on multiple projects and assignments to reach resolution.
  • Demonstrated independence in researching issues and proposing business solutions.
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Office tools.
