Senior Financial Analyst We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team specializing in financial planning and analysis for our Power Solutions segment within Atmus Filtration Technologies in Nashville, TN. Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • 3-4 years of professional FP&A experience required.
  • Experience with MS Office products, including Outlook and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hyperion Consolidation tools, Oracle, and Tableau
  • Experience with process automation and data centralization a plus

Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for consolidation of global results of the Power Solutions segment. This includes publication of results, completion of financial bridges and commentary to explain results, and delivering insights through data to drive business performance. This person in this role must be able to effectively collaborate across functions and operate with precise ability to meet deadlines. This role is highly visible, therefore high attention to detail and accuracy is critical to success in the role.
  • Perform accurate global segment financial consolidation for Power Solutions and report financial results versus planning scenarios
  • Execute financial bridges to explain results by plan and forecast scenarios; communicate results through business drivers to senior leadership, globally and by region
  • Derive and communicate segment business drivers, key insights, and proposed actions to improve performance
  • Create mechanisms to collect and communicate business insights and data to support segment in achieving financial plan targets
  • Perform oversight and reporting of selling and administrative costs for business segment, globally and by function, and share key insights and proposed actions to meet financial targets
  • Provide finance support to Product Engineering, including execution of month-end closing activities and financial analysis to communicate results
  • Create visualizations and financial commentary to explain global segment results through business drivers in Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Partner with other finance leaders within Power Solutions and Corporate to understand and effectively communicate key insights, results, and proposed actions to senior segment leadership
  • Consolidate segment forecast projections and report on movements to prior forecast and prior annual plan
  • Create and execute strategies to support annual and long-term planning, including consolidation of plan submissions
  • Support in the creation, deployment and reporting of new KPIs to support business growth and financial targets
  • Complete segment profit/loss statements to support in transfer price adjustments and analyses
  • Drive process improvement to internal processes, improving data sources and assumptions as needed, and liaising with IT leaders to execute improvements
  • Review data sources for existing processes and create standardized, reliable data sources. Automate current manual processes wherever possible, leveraging existing or newly created data sources to gain efficiency in reporting and visualization creation
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support business stakeholders
