About The Position

Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch, and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world? It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join the GTM Finance team, playing a pivotal role in optimizing financial planning and analysis through embedded partnership with the business team. In this role, you will provide critical financial guidance and analysis that drives strategic decision-making for the team. You will build comprehensive financial models, create scalable processes, and deliver impactful insights that drive outcomes for one of Amazon's largest investment areas. Your analysis will directly inform and influence strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the company. This exciting opportunity allows you to create foundational capabilities for a pre-launch business that will shape investment strategies within Leo B2B GTM Finance. You'll partner closely with B2B leads to analyze deals, build scalable GTM processes, and design reporting frameworks to communicate results to Leo leadership. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 3+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial models that evaluate GTM strategy and enable data-driven decision making.
  • Develop comprehensive revenue forecasts that inform our global B2B strategy and identify key growth opportunities
  • Partner with B2B stakeholders to analyze and influence enterprise deal structures, drafting written deal financial summaries for Leo's leadership.
  • Develop and implement scalable reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into key performance indicators for executive leadership.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance data quality, and increase operational efficiency across the Leo B2B organization.
  • Analyze potential sales initiatives and evaluate market opportunities to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.

  • The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
