Senior Financial Analyst – Allocations & Costing (Houston) Who: A fast-scaling finance team seeking an analytical leader in cost allocations and financial KPIs. What: Build allocation engines, ABC financials, KPI dashboards, and manage profitability insights. When: New position supporting strategic finance expansion. Where: Based in Houston, TX. Why: This role is central to understanding and influencing cost transparency and business performance. Office Environment: Hybrid model (up to 2 days in office if transitioned), not posted as remote. Salary: $95,000–$110,000 base plus 5% discretionary bonus. Position Overview: We are looking for a hands-on and strategic Senior Financial Analyst with a deep understanding of allocation methodologies and profitability metrics. This role partners closely with operations and FP&A leadership to shape internal costing frameworks, deliver insight-rich dashboards, and improve financial transparency across departments.

  • Design and implement cost allocation models and tools for accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead Activity-Based Costing (ABC) initiatives to support strategic insights.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and profitability dashboards across business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic finance goals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior finance leaders to guide decision-making.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, cost accounting, or financial analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of cost allocation and activity-based costing.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to build financial models and dashboards from scratch.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Power BI or Tableau experience a plus.
  • CPA or MBA preferred
