We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst t o participate in the month-end close process and assist with financial planning & reporting processes for Mid America Division. The analyst will assist in supporting the Division with reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new financial systems and tools quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry E xperience with Hyperion, Essbase, PeopleSoft or other ERP systems.
  • Experience working with large data sets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI )

Responsibilities

  • Ensure month-end close tasks and deliverables are completed timely and accurately.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial review packages.
  • Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Sub-Divisions.
  • Complete variance analysis of business performance for monthly, quarterly and year-to-date results.
  • Analyze current and past trends including drivers of revenue, costs, and expenses.
  • Prepare financial ad-hoc reports for various business arrangements and requests.
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures and recommend solutions to streamline financial reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Assist in developing the annual budget and financial forecasts for the Division and Sub-Divisions.
