We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst t o participate in the month-end close process and assist with financial planning & reporting processes for Mid America Division. The analyst will assist in supporting the Division with reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Strong financial analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new financial systems and tools quickly.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry E xperience with Hyperion, Essbase, PeopleSoft or other ERP systems.
- Experience working with large data sets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI )
Responsibilities
- Ensure month-end close tasks and deliverables are completed timely and accurately.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial review packages.
- Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Sub-Divisions.
- Complete variance analysis of business performance for monthly, quarterly and year-to-date results.
- Analyze current and past trends including drivers of revenue, costs, and expenses.
- Prepare financial ad-hoc reports for various business arrangements and requests.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures and recommend solutions to streamline financial reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
- Assist in developing the annual budget and financial forecasts for the Division and Sub-Divisions.
