About The Position

The Sr. Financial Analyst will support our teleradiology businesses and this position may be based in either our Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC office. This position will require you to be in the office a few days per week. The primary function of the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is to provide timely and accurate analytics to senior business leaders. This position will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, assisting with physician payroll and compensation, budget and forecast preparation, ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5-7 years’ experience in corporate accounting/financial analysis
  • Experience with accounting software systems and relational databases
  • Proven experience in a Sr. Financial Analyst role in an FP&A environment
  • Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to translate large and complex financial datasets, verbally and graphically, to communicate with non-financial stakeholders and leaders
  • Polished presentation skills, both in preparing presentation materials and the ability to relay to senior leadership
  • Advanced/expert Excel skills and experience with enterprise reporting tools / data warehouses
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail & the ability to follow through to resolve outstanding issues
  • High ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work long hours, when necessary
  • Trusted agent with highly confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis - Review of monthly financials and operational metrics
  • Perform variance & trend analysis and provide explanations of changes
  • Partner with key stakeholders to enhance benchmarking and dashboards (i.e. operations, accounting, data analytics, corporate)
  • Create financial models aligning operational & financial metrics
  • Physician Compensation Models & Earnings Calculations - Prepare monthly and quarterly compensation models
  • Review & interpret employment contracts and other legal documents
  • Maintain & track expense allowances
  • Maintain FTE schedules
  • Budget & Forecast Preparation - Facilitate the rolling forecast efforts and consolidate results for senior leadership
  • Participate in annual budget preparation, providing analytics that coordinate strategic planning efforts and annual budget for full P&L that also includes physician compensation
  • Identify & size risks and opportunities not reflected in forecasted/budgeted results
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting & Special Projects - Update and maintain radiologist capacity modeling
  • Participate in M&A activity including modeling, consolidation & financial statement reviews
  • Prepare reporting and presentation level output for additional information requests by senior leadership
  • Additional ad-hoc work as needed
