Position Summary Cloud5 Communications is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to quickly integrate into ongoing financial processes while maintaining continuity and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or corporate finance
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, scenario modeling)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in a new environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in technology, telecommunications, or hospitality industries is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close support, including variance analysis and financial reporting packages
- Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts and assist with annual budget modeling
- Analyze revenue, cost of services, operating expenses, and margin trends
- Develop financial models to support business decisions and operational initiatives
- Partner with department leaders to provide insights on performance vs. plan
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
- Assist with board and executive-level reporting materials
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
- Provide ad hoc analysis and special project support as needed
