The Financial Analyst, FP&A will support the financial planning and analytics for the Pharmaceutical Solutions & Services (PSaS) business unit. This role will include responsibilities across: budgeting, forecasting, and analysis in support of Customer Operations with a primary focus on operating expenses. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for timely and accurate forecasting and variance analysis for various leaders across PSaS while serving as a key finance liaison to the business. Key qualities to be successful in this role would include strong financial acumen, ability to work well with large amounts of data, and project management skills.

Requirements

• Degree and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance analytics, accounting, or similar experience
• Substantial experience with MS Excel demonstrating successful skills in building and generating easy to interpret reporting
• Results Oriented: must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations
• Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership
• Knowledge of GAAP and excellent understanding of financial analysis
• Attention to detail, accuracy, reconciling data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Works and thinks well independently
• Leverages multiple data resources and cross-functional relationships to create financial projections
• Intermediate to Advanced in PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• SAP/ERP Experience Preferred
• SAP experience
• Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to work with databases, and large data sets
• Experience reviewing financial results with senior leadership
• Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines
• Experience creating presentations for all leadership levels

Responsibilities

• Month-to-month financial forecasting and variance analysis including research, explanation and resolution of monthly variances for expenses
• Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes, candidate needs to be able to think through problems presented to management and thoroughly communicate explanations
• Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance to key business stakeholders
• Consulting with business leaders to help them make informed decisions to maintain a healthy P&L
• Ensuring accurate forecasting by understanding business needs and drivers
• Analytics associated with actual and forecast data for strategic capital projects
• Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and NA FSS
