About The Position

One of the fastest growing companies, now an established middle market firm, has a new role for a Financial Analyst. The role partners across the organization and is responsible for ongoing evaluations of operational processes, cost tracking, and pricing and product offerings to analyze product margins.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Excellent MS Excel
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Nice To Haves

experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView or equivalent is a plus
SQL (preferred)

Responsibilities

Create and maintain financial models
Assist with month-end close, analyze inventory
Analyze cost accounting data and assist in cost reconciliation
Review and analyze inventory and margin reports
Track business performance against operating plans and prepare variance analyses around gross margins
Review and analyzes inventory and margin reports
Conduct research and performs analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability
Develop and present analysis to Senior Management
Work with Regional operators set and track operational goals on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis
Develop operational reports for the field operators to on sales & cost of goods sold
