About The Position
The Senior Financial Analyst at HCA Healthcare plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of work papers and analyses related to the financial statements and operations of the company. This position is integral to the financial health of the organization, requiring a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to interpret complex data. The analyst will be responsible for determining and devising data survey collection methods, research techniques, and analytical methodologies to be used for various analyses. This includes utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles to prepare reports such as proformas, weekly projections, and physician bonuses, among other requests. In addition to report preparation, the Senior Financial Analyst will be tasked with the preparation of annual projections and budgets, interpreting data concerning financial trends, and preparing monthly analyses by reviewing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Journal Entries. The role also involves preparing monthly financial statements and other month-end reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and monitoring and reporting historical trends. Collaboration with HCAPS Managers and Hospital Finance to provide necessary data is also a key responsibility. The analyst will perform other related duties as required and is expected to practice and adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
