As a Senior Financial Analyst (Systems), you’ll lead enterprise-wide financial systems transformation and modernization efforts for GE Appliances, advancing automation, governance, and reporting excellence. You’ll partner with cross-functional and technology teams to drive strategic initiatives, strengthen financial integrity, and streamline global Controllership processes.

Requirements

  • Functions as a seasoned finance professional, working independently with minimal supervision to lead financial processes, manage complex projects, and meet operational targets.
  • Oversees the development and execution of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans using strong business knowledge and data analysis.
  • Independently resolves difficult and occasionally complex challenges, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative in managing full project lifecycles and financial processes.
  • Adjusts work methods and priorities autonomously in response to shifting team or business objectives, maintaining alignment with broader project and organizational goals.
  • Crafts and delivers compelling financial presentations that connect insights to business outcomes.
  • Influences others through coaching, collaboration, and effective explanation of financial policies and practices.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of finance and the business, typically gained through education and experience, to guide analysis, support strategic decision-making, and improve financial performance.
  • Acts as a consultative partner to business leaders, translating financial results into actionable recommendations, supporting planning discussions, and aligning resources with strategic goals.
  • Proactively monitors for financial compliance and internal control risks, advises on corrective actions, and ensures that processes support accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Holds a University Degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (corporate finance or functional IT), reflecting a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in the field.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous corporate finance experience specifically in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with and experience implementing Oracle and Hyperion modules.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and supports GE Appliances’ financial transformation projects, including: EPM Cloud migration (FCCS, EPBCS, and ARCS) Hyperion HFM implementation R12 Systematic Manual Journal Entry (MJE) Review
  • Partners with Digital Technology (DT) on new initiatives and transactions, including entity restructures, acquisitions, and subledger accounting enhancements.
  • Oversees the period and year-end close process across Oracle R12, collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate closing of multiple Oracle EBS modules.
  • Maintains governance, accuracy, and integrity of the General Ledger (GL).
  • Drives reconciliation of subledgers to the General Ledger, ensuring accounting consistency across all financial modules.
  • Serves as the functional owner of Hyperion ARM (Account Reconciliation Manager) and ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service).
  • Ensures timely completion of account reconciliations, monitor compliance, and report key performance metrics to the CFO staff.
  • Performs monthly and annual maintenance activities for the Global Oracle General Ledger (R12).
  • Provides user training, support, and ad hoc financial analysis for Oracle EBS users.
  • Leads efforts to strategize and streamline Controllership business processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manages and maintains the Closing & Reporting SharePoint site to ensure effective communication and accessibility of key resources.
