About The Position
In this newly created role, the selected candidate will reside on the East Coast and be responsible for the consolidation, monthly and quarterly updates for actual results and program forecast of the global, consolidated financial budgets and forecasts for R&D. This person will be responsible for the distribution of monthly and quarterly reports to senior management highlighting and reporting on variances from budget and prior forecast. This involves cross-functional internal collaboration with all departments of the organization. This person will also work closely with the corporate accounting organization to ensure proper expense recognition and compliance with internal controls, including government grant accounting. Successful candidates will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at varying levels within the organization. The candidate will be expected to produce quality work in an organized, timely, and efficient manner.
