About The Position

NextEra Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Valuation Financial Analyst to join our Development group on the Origination team! The ideal candidate will provide support to our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business and will be integral to the project valuation and business management efforts essential to our RNG operations. We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated expertise in Excel and possesses a strong background in financial modeling, particularly within the RNG sector. Your ability to support a diverse portfolio of RNG projects while conducting detailed three financial statement pro forma modeling and returns analysis will be crucial to your success in this role. Support for the financial forecasting aspect of business management will also be required for the role. This role will be based in Juno Beach, FL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's - Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related field
• Experience: 4+ years

Nice To Haves

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
• Master’s - Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Responsibilities

• Performs financial pro forma modeling and analysis work products
• Coordinates engagement with Development leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SME)
• Coordinates the gathering of SME assumptions
• Reviews SME assumptions and resolves open issues
• Prepares management presentations
• Presents to Risk Committee/CFO reviews, and senior management vetting meetings (based on ability)
• Assists in developing valuation standards and policies
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
