Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products (SI EP) is looking for a dynamic, results oriented finance professional to join our finance team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing business by working closely with operations teams in ensuring financial transparency and accuracy, internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPI's as well as continuous improvement while collaborating with a team of financial analysts. This role reports to the Plant Controller and is based out of Fort Worth, TX. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will make an impact with the following responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis. Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP FICO.
  • Proven track record of performing in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to network, collaborate and willingness to learn
  • Experience using automation tools such as Knime and Tableau will be a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines, prioritize and multi-task

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial statements including P&L and balance sheet, compare to forecast/budget, provide variance commentaries and report results to senior management.
  • Drive tasks include but not limited to revenue and cost recognition, month-end closing, forecasting, and cost center planning and analysis.
  • Engage with the operations team as well as with other finance colleagues to understand and quantify the financial impacts to the business.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and work on processes to optimize operational performance and provide new insights that help in analysis and decision making.
  • Adopt and streamline new processes and reports by automating and digitalizing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside the plant including operations, business segment, performance controlling, other plants, procurement, accounting, IT, and others.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
