About The Position

Apple is seeking an experienced and highly motivated analyst to join the Operations Finance team. This role is within the WW Operations FP&A team and is responsible for global lease accounting, forecast and close related processes, headcount reporting, department spend and other FP&A projects as assigned. The position requires in-depth knowledge of GAAP, accounting, the Company's financial policies and procedures, as well as Finance systems. This role will provide world-class business partner support to various Operations Directors and their teams, requiring excellent communication skills, a strong business insight, and ability to solve problems real-time. The position offers the unique opportunity to work closely with all areas of Engineering & Operations and cross-functionally with many teams, including IS&T, Global Business Solutions, Corporate Accounting, and Corporate Procurement.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling background.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of proficiency with Excel, Keynote, and Tableau.
• Experience with database programs, SAP BPC, Business Objects, and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the financial forecast and close processes in collaboration with global Operations Finance teams and Corporate FP&A.
• Perform global lease accounting, ensuring accurate recording, classification, and reporting of lease-related financial information.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement financial best practices and optimize financial processes and systems.
• Provide world-class Finance support for various Operations teams.
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of FP&A related systems.
• Oversee headcount tracking and related reporting for the Engineering and Operations Finance organization.
• Support FP&A and other assigned projects.
