As a senior financial analyst on the North America Finance Team you will deliver accurate reporting and analysis of monthly and quarterly results for the US Retail business and North America business segment, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. This role supports annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and strategic initiatives by partnering with budget owners and business partners and managing consolidations. The analyst will lead financial modeling and business case development for new initiatives, providing insights to drive growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of US military experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in a role performing financial analysis job functions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting
  • 2 or more years of experience in a role using electronic financial modeling skills
  • 3 or more years of experience in a role presenting financial analysis and recommendations to a business unit
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Advanced financial modeling skill

Responsibilities

  • Reporting – analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance measures for the North America segment and US Retail business. Prepare management reports against forecast, budget and prior year. Provide variance explanations and highlight risks and opportunities to key stakeholders. Identify trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization and margin improvements.
  • Planning & Forecasting - supports development of annual financial plan, quarterly forecasts and strategic plans. Establishes timelines, partners with budget owners, manages consolidation and initiates timely reviews of the projections to ensure plans are delivered on time and are consistent with enterprise priorities and goals
  • Business case support/Analytical deep dives - performs financial due diligence for new initiatives. Works cross functionally with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop robust financial models, providing critical insights and recommendations to drive business growth
  • Advisory and Influence - provides and explains financial information effectively to all levels of management. Educates financial/business acumen and ensures adherence to policy to customers. Establishes and facilitates process development and performs on-going review of planning and reporting process to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
