About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. The Sr. Financial Analyst- Merchandising will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This successful teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA a plus.
• Minimum of five 3+ years of related work experience.
• Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience.
• Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience.
• Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large amounts of data from various sources.
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for the execution of strategies and initiatives that need to be implemented.
• Experience creating Power BI Dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure financial results are reported timely, accurately, and in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop complex financial models.
• Possesses strong analytical & evaluation skills.
• Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership.
