About The Position

The position involves performing data aggregation, analysis, and management reporting on sales results and trends within Transamerica's financial services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, with degree.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Extracts and aggregates sales related data from various information systems to support periodic reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Analyzes sales related data and identifies trends and drivers of results; interprets findings for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project future results.
  • Clearly communicates findings/takeaways to leadership and may offer recommendations to those making economic or business decisions.
  • Supports the business' insight needs by utilizing understanding of the business to proactively develop reports and models for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
  • Self-motivated individual who works with minimal instruction or guidance to perform moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope and complexity; requires originality, creativity, and problem solving with initiative and independent judgment required.
  • Works effectively with other departments/divisions to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company.
  • Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.
