Job Description The Senior Financial Analyst II, is a direct report to the Lifecycle Services Finance Manager, Global Headquarters. You will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, oversight of internal controls, process improvements, and decision support for the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Plex Professional Services (PPS) businesses. You will work with the MOM and PPS leadership teams, the Global Analytics and Insight (GA&I) team, and the Lifecycle Services regional controllers to lead improved financial results and better business decision support.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Typically requires 8 years related accounting/finance experience
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle EPM, or similar ERP applications
  • Understanding of different types of revenue recognition methodologies (time-based, percentage of completion)
  • Command of US GAAP, income statement, and balance sheet
  • CPA and/or MBA

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of monthly financial results vs. forecast, AOP, and prior year; provide management with insight on current and forward-looking results
  • Monitor and review applicable financial reports prepared by the GA&I team
  • Ensure predictability of results by creating AOP and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Review the financial aspects of project proposals
  • Work with project managers to monitor the financial performance of projects, including project margin, unbilled balances, and cash flow working with the business partners to ensure understanding and provide recommendations
  • Partnership with Lean Six Sigma team to review productivity opportunities
  • Support financial activities associated with current and future business models including acquisition integrations
  • Calculation and analysis of annual labor rates
  • Develop annual frontlog margin targets
  • Supply analysis, common business sense, and broad thinking to move the business forward
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in all areas of the role
  • Work with LCS leadership to lead collaboration opportunities with MOM/PPS and other LCS business units
