Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a financial analyst or cost accounting role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on expertise with SAP, specifically with its integration to BOM, cost management, and manufacturing modules.
  • Extensive experience with systems implementation and process improvement, particularly with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications and their integration with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both financial and non-financial partners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of our Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Serve as the finance lead for systems implementation and digital transformation initiatives, specifically as they relate to BOM and costing within our PLM and ERP systems.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis on product costs, manufacturing expenses, and profitability, working closely with cross-functional teams in operations and engineering.
  • Identify and analyze production variances, providing clear explanations and supporting resolution efforts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve our costing and PLM processes for greater efficiency and data quality.
  • Build complex financial models and conduct ad hoc analyses to support key strategic initiatives.
