Stanton products are globally outsourced and imported from a multinational supply base. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A to join our Woodbury, NY location. The Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A will play a key role in supporting the commercial function of the organization by providing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis services. This position will primarily focus on partnering with the commercial team to drive revenue forecasting, expense management, strategic planning and decision support. This position reports directly to Director of FP&A. It is critical for the person holding this position to have FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to present financial information in a concise and easily comprehensible manner to various audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA preferred.
• 5-7+ years’ experience in Finance, experience working in a global manufacturing and/or distribution business preferred
• Proficient in financial system and other database, strong ability in data mining and analytics
• High attention to detail with excellent analytic and research skills
• Experience with financial budgeting/forecast leadership, and strong financial analysis skills – including being detail oriented and proficient in building and using complicated data sources
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (AS400/SAP/Oracle/etc.) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred
• Exceptional skills in PowerPoint
• A highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative work ethic

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
• Collect, process, and analyze sales data to generate actionable insights
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports (daily/monthly/quarterly/annually)
• Assist in development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, pipeline metrics, and other key performance indicators
• Analyze and interpret profitability analysis at the customer, product, and regional levels
• Assist commercial leaders (both Hard & Soft Surface Divisions) on recommendations regarding the performance of sales by employees, regions, territory, etc.
• Aggregate and distribute daily sales reports
• Assist in the preparation of materials used for Board of Directors presentations
• Assist with KPIs and Dashboards reporting
• Assist with monthly close processes (accruals, prepaids, variance analysis etc.)
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to gather and provide business insights and proactively look for improvement opportunities
• Champion standardization and automation of processes through system and tools enhancement
• Headcount reporting
• Capital spending and project reporting
• Other duties and ad hoc reporting as needed
