Senior Financial Analyst, Digital and Streaming
About The Position
TelevisaUnivision is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst who is detail-oriented, strategically minded and naturally curious to help foster the continued growth of our business. This role's responsibilities include assisting with month and year-end close processes, financial planning and forecasting, account analysis, and other ad-hoc financial projects. The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated and have ability to multitask and efficiently execute deliverables; be independent and able to dive deep into data to translate into meaningful analysis; have strong oral and written communication skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes; can think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years experience in accounting/finance
- Advanced Microsoft Office program (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to identify issues and solve problems effectively
- Team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated success with systems and data visualization tools
- Must be able to work well independently and take ownership of projects
Nice To Haves
- Preferred knowledge of Oracle applications (PBCS)
Responsibilities
- Support management with month-end close, monthly forecast and annual budgeting processes
- Prepare content acquisitions program rights schedules and update monthly forecasts
- Prepare Programming & Entertainment cashflow schedules and update monthly forecasts
- Assist in preparation of monthly operational reviews
- Prepare Balance Sheet for monthly review and quarterly fluxes
- Prepare quarterly deliverables reports
- Manage revenue from royalties and talent licensing deals
- Prepare quarterly music royalty payouts
- Prepare billing requests for designated projects
- Work in partnership with operations team to coordinate vendors' payments
- Additional projects and functions as delegated by department management, including ad hoc requests
