About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting is a highly visible role at the center of Ferrara’s financial operations, responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s financial results. As a key member of the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the business. In this role, you will take ownership of the monthly close process for designated business units—driving accurate, timely, and compliant financial results in a fast-paced environment. You’ll go beyond execution, proactively identifying risks, resolving discrepancies, and continuously improving close processes to enhance efficiency and control. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, and operational partners to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business performance. Your ability to analyze complex data, translate insights, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will position you as a trusted partner within the Finance organization. Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of accounting experience
High proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite

Nice To Haves

CPA certification preferred
Accounting experience across multiple areas preferably with manufacturing or consumer products companies
Public accounting, preferably Big 4 or large regional firm, experience a plus
SAP (including S4/HANA) and Oracle EPM / FCCS experience a plus
Superior written and oral communication skills
US GAAP and IFRS experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supports the Company’s S4/HANA implementation journey, as needed
Analyze financial statement activity to proactively identify opportunities or risk facilitating overall accuracy of financial records
Create and maintain data developed metrics, analyses, and report formats to facilitate accuracy of balance sheet accruals and analyze budget variances and business trends
Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
Partners functionally to manage the following areas: Trade and other gross to net accounting
Advertising and promotional spending
Other SG&A spend, including (but not limited to) legal, IT, workers compensation & insurance, employee related costs, etc.
Annual Census reporting
Mentor Corporate Accounting financial analyst effectively
Assist FP&A with preparation of annual budget
Lead new areas with the Jelly Belly migration, as needed
