About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the Commercial Services Finance organization at Hyatt, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Requirements

• Three to five years in finance and/or accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance (preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Complete/oversee monthly financial responsibilities for various commercial services departments, including variance analysis, budget development, and reforecasting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with commercial services business contacts on financial matters and related questions.
• Identify areas of opportunity and efficiency savings in areas of responsibility.
• Leverage statistical and operational data to draw correlations between periodic operational and financial results, providing insights to senior management.
• Gather and report information for annual regulatory reporting and year-end audit reporting.
• Address ad hoc requests as needed.
• Pursue learning and self-development to enhance personal and professional growth.
