About The Position

Are you looking for a project-based Financial Analysis role with exposure to senior leadership? The Senior Financial Analyst of Business Value Maximization helps optimize the value of our numerous partnerships. You’ll perform financial analysis and help develop strategies that allow us to maximize the return on our marketing/partnership spend. You’ll also help with monitoring and reporting on Customer Lifetime Value and Customer Acquisition Cost metrics and using those learnings to increase value within our contract terms. This role is all about finding the root cause of issues and then finding innovative ways to resolve them. Building financial models for multiple scenarios is just the beginning. Your ability to successfully navigate short- and long-term projects with multiple different teams will be key to your success in this role. This is a Hybrid position located in our Frisco, TX office. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the Frisco, TX office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time

Requirements

  • At least 3 years (we’d love more!) of experience working in accounting, finance, consulting, or related field
  • Experience working with contracts. Ability to understand the contract terms and apply those terms to day-to-day tactics of the business.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Expert-level MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, or similar tools to be able to pull and analyze data
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and individually to investigate problems
  • Desire to continue asking questions until a problem is fully understood
  • Ability to take learnings and think outside the box to develop strategies to maximize value
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
  • Adaptable, responsive, and energized by a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) with a professional, polished style
  • Strong collaborator who’s also confident working independently
  • Natural curiosity – you look for ways to find the root cause of issues and have the tenacity to resolve those issues

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Customer Lifetime Value and Customer Acquisition Cost reporting to gain insights into profitability of different partnerships
  • Perform variety of financial analyses to help develop strategies on marketing/partnership spend to ensure we are optimizing our ROI
  • Partner with multiple departments across the organization to build financial models for a variety of projects to assist with resource prioritization
  • Develop strategies to maximize value of partnerships by understanding contracts and profitability of different partners and finding areas to optimize
  • Ad Hoc analysis to help identify areas of opportunity within acquisition and retention channels to drive revenue
  • Ownership of reviewing contract terms for major partnerships and ensuring systems recognize revenue and calculate payments in accordance with contract terms
