AWS Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support AWS, and more
specifically its AWS Networking Services business. This position will work
closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive
financial planning, decision support, controllership, and private deal modeling
for several AWS Networking Services including CloudFront, AWS Global
Accelerator, and Amazon Interactive Video Service.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Nice To Haves

• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Build out and enhance P&L models for new and existing services
• Build and enhance financial models for pricing decisions and revenue forecasting
• Work on deal desk modeling private custom deals for key customers
• Drive the financial planning / budgeting process
• Create, maintain, and improve management reporting
• Develop business insights and dashboards
• Compile and review financial results and operational plans
• Communicate results to company leaders
• Partner with business and finance teams for Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and forecasts
• Work with product, capacity, and operations teams on opportunities and constraints
