About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst role within the AMXL Strategic Finance team at Amazon Logistics focuses on optimizing and providing insights for the Heavy Bulky product segment. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, and financial systems like Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AMXL Retail, Strategy, and Operations Teams to drive optimization and efficiency across the Heavy Bulky vertical.
• Own operational cost insights and commercial business case development for the Heavy Bulky segment.
• Identify trends and set direction for cost-optimization and growth projects.
• Utilize SQL and large-scale data mining tools to innovate and provide insights.
• Support business owners in decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
