About The Position

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. The team is responsible for developing cloud solutions, including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, to enable clients' digital transformation. The AI Infrastructure Product Finance team owns the AI/ML Compute for Google Cloud. The Finance team ensures that Cloud Product, Capacity and TI organizations make sound financial decisions for investments in the AI business. The name Google came from 'googol,' a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in financial modeling, financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function.
• Knowledge of different roles and incentives in the Cloud/Software industry.
• Excellent quantitative, written, presentation, innovation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Cloud's GPU AI Infrastructure business.
• Manage the business growth planning for AI/ML GPU Infrastructure business.
• Provide business growth and margin analysis for AI/ML GPU Infrastructure business.
• Partner with Capacity, Product, and GTM teams to evaluate customer demand signals and provide the latest business growth snapshot to business and finance leadership.
• Contribute to regular cadence process and deliverables for the AI/ML GPU Infrastructure business such as business reviews and financial forecasts.

Benefits

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
