About The Position

Are you ready to shape the financial strategy behind the next frontier of artificial intelligence? We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with this transformative business. The Agentic AI Finance team provides strategic financial leadership for one of Amazon's most ambitious AI initiatives. In this role, you will support a fast-scaling organization developing AI agents that solve complex problems and drive customer value. You'll develop financial models and insights that guide investment decisions, optimize resource allocation, and accelerate the path from innovation to impact. This role combines financial expertise with the opportunity to on transformative technology. You'll collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to drive smarter decisions about pricing, feature optimization, and strategic investments. Your work will directly influence how Amazon builds and scales agentic AI systems that will transform industries. We're seeking someone with strong analytical capabilities, experience in financial modeling and strategic planning, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You should be energized by complex problem-solving, cross-functional influence, and working in an environment that combines startup velocity with Amazon's global scale.

Requirements

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Nice To Haves

4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
Process management skills
Experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses and providing data-driven recommendations to senior management
Experience in developing financial reporting/scalable processes

Responsibilities

Influence strategic financial decisions including support for new initiatives, private pricing deal structures, and investment prioritization
Work cross functionally with internal teams to assess financial implications of new capabilities, features, and service launches
Lead deep-dive analyses to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, optimizations, and growth strategies
Develop financial models to evaluate trade-offs between different Agentic AI architectures, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches
Support controllership activities and planning cycles for Agentic AI with focus on P&L management
Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making across the Agentic AI organization
