Job Title Senior Finance Manager What does a successful Senior Finance Manager do at Fiserv? As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as an individual contributor who drives month-end close, reporting, and analysis across our business. You partner with Accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and business leaders to build models and dashboards that surface trends, risks, and opportunities. Your work equips executive management with timely, decision-ready insights that improve performance and inform resource allocation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting, supporting month-end close, variance analysis, and executive reporting in an enterprise environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with SQL or similar query language.
  • Experience building driver-based financial models and forecasts and delivering actionable insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience enhancing reporting and dashboards and standardizing processes to reduce cycle time in close and planning activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Finance).
  • Experience automating reporting with SQL or Python or similar object-oriented language.
  • Experience in financial services or payments.

Responsibilities

  • Own month-end close deliverables, support the financial close, and prepare standard and ad hoc analyses of results.
  • Engage in business partnership to develop and drive in-depth financial analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, variances, emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance monthly reporting/dashboards and other in-depth financial analysis to assist executive management in making operational decision-making.
  • Develop and apply a comprehensive understanding of existing financial reporting and forecast models; provide recommendations and implement solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and level of detail.
