Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience
• OR equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years of accounting experience with exposure to revenue recognition (ASC 606) and process improvement initiatives using tools such as Power Query, SQL, and Fabric

Responsibilities

• Understand the revenue recognition process for complex contract reviews in compliance with Microsoft's ASC 606 accounting policies and guidelines including the process and tools required.
• Gain deep understanding of MS revenue policies to effectively design and develop tools to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and maintain custom applications and solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI & SQL to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive innovation to existing systems & tools used for compliant revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize complex workflows and integrations with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.
• Develop business requirements to enhance and innovate the contract review system & tools and design & perform user acceptance testing.
• This position requires the ability of effectively prioritizing tasks and operating within a degree of ambiguity in a changing environment.
