Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with a preference in finance or accounting.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience in manufacturing or supply chain finance.
  • Background in standard costing, budget management and capital analysis and control.
  • Consistent track record of identifying and implementing change.
  • Has effectively communicated at all levels of the organization in both formal and informal environments.
  • Experience in a global, diverse matrixed organization.
  • Capable of delivering a case for change by analyzing and demonstrating effective strategies.
  • Maintains a strong presence, with the ability to lead indirect reporting relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provides relevant, accurate and timely communication of financial performance (past, present, and future).
  • Includes oversight of month end closing, the submission of weekly pulses, the preparation of quarterly forecasts and the preparation of the budgets (annual and long-range plans).
  • Provides oversight of all plant related GAAP, SOX and Baxter policy requirements.
  • Achieves financial results and analyzes variances in manufacturing variances, operating income, cash flow, capital investments, and value improvement project (VIP) generation and execution.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement (both financial and operational).
  • Responsible for development & management of a team of controllers (3) across multiple sites.
  • Act as ISC finance business partner to various cross-functional teams.
  • Achieves financial results for KPIs including manufacturing variances, operating income, cash flow, capital investments and value improvement projects (VIP).
