About The Position

You will be joining the Finance Business Partner team within the FP&A organization, specifically focused on driving strategic projects. This role reports to our Head of FP&A Business Partners - Strategic Initiatives and is fully remote, with a PST timezone preference.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial planning, or similar role
• Deep technical know-how in building financial models, balancing complexity with simplicity
• Experience using BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, Anaplan, etc.)
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• A curiosity to learn and the initiative to act
• Continuous improvement mindset, with experience implementing process improvements that aim to help simplify and scale

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the product costing model in Anaplan and gsheets to forecast (quarterly, annual and long-term) product costs
• Own all cost attribution models for COGS and R&D, partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Product and Platform teams to understand cost drivers and refine models and assumptions
• Engage with Product and Platform teams to create unit metrics on the cost to serve and product costing to aid in profitability analysis
• Partner closely with Engineering to drive related automation and process improvement initiatives
• Provide data-driven insights to support product and platform leaders with strategic decision-making and help promote efficient capital allocation across the company
• Use visualization and mapping tools such as Tableau, Gsheets and other data analytics tools to conduct analysis and insight
