About The Position

MedTech Surgery, a $10 billion franchise within Johnson & Johnson, has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst supporting the Surgery Business Unit Finance (BUF) team within the MedTech Principal Operations (MTPO). Requirements

  • Accounting/Finance bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent in analytical work, communication, framing and business partnering skills
  • Proactive and energetic approach with a demonstrated record of driving continuous process improvements in a dynamic environment
  • Strong PC skills, preferably in Excel (intermediate level), General Ledger, SAP, BRAVO, STRIVE, Alteryx, and other computer applications
  • Accuracy with attention to detail
  • Framing and communication of complex data
  • Strong compliance mindset with experience of SOX or audit requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device industry.
  • Proven track record in multi-cultural business partnering
  • Experience of automated tools (e.g. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Surgery BUF team in reporting AGP (Affiliate Gross Profit) on a quarterly basis and for forecast cycles:
  • Responsible for the consolidation of AGP in the Surgery principal entity on a monthly basis
  • Partner with other AGP site owners to ensure completeness in Actuals and Forecast reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely submissions on a quarterly basis for all AGP actual and forecasting cycles
  • Support reconciling AGP variances vs forecasts and on As Reported vs Addback analysis.
  • Leverage S4 capabilities to build insights into the AGP drivers across product lines & sub-franchise.
  • Collaborate with the wider AGP site owners & MTPO business partners to drive process improvement, automation and streamline activities.
  • Support with the Profit in Inventory calculation for Surgery.
  • Support Inventory and CNIS activities
  • Support preparation of Monthly Inventory Report
  • Support BvA analysis and management reviews
  • Engage with business partners to gather insights in efforts to enhance forecast reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely submissions on a quarterly/monthly basis for all actual and forecasting cycles
  • Prepare and analyze manual entries during monthly close
  • Support audit/tax requests and analysis.
  • Become a valued member of the team, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as required
  • Engage in strategic projects, including process improvements targeted towards complexity reduction in Surgery Supply Chain and standardization and harmonization of AGP & inventory related financial processes across
  • Ad hoc team support and business partnering.
