The Senior Finance Analyst will lead specialized finance-related activities to support the MillerKnoll Americas Contract segment. This role involves partnering with business leaders and finance counterparts to provide financial analysis, forecasts, projections, and strategic planning. The analyst will analyze business trends, vet new business opportunities, and create recommendations for management. The assignments will expose the analyst to complex financial and business-related concepts, issues, and activities.

  • Collaborates with Management to provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support through proper financial analysis, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Summarizes financial analysis and performance to senior leadership on business initiatives, new opportunities, strategy, and risks & opportunities.
  • Coordinates and oversees liaisons with MillerKnoll finance, both domestic and international.
  • Develops and independently implements work strategies, financial models, and budgeting tools to achieve desired results.
  • Influences business decisions by effectively forecasting, preparing, and presenting financial forecasts.
  • Works with cross-functional areas to identify and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP and established MillerKnoll guidelines.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in a professional finance position.
  • CPA - Certified Public Accountant preferred.
  • Highly developed knowledge and expertise in finance area of specialty.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Highly developed analytical skills necessary to analyze problems and generate new ideas and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, define, and resolve complex problems/projects/programs.
  • Proven ability to influence individuals at all levels, including internal and external management.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and implement policy and procedures in key areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to use office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment.
